One of the favorite ministries of our Pastor at First Family Church is AWANA! This high-energy, scripture memory program may be the most life-changing ministry of our church because of it's pure focus on memorizing God's word. Every Wednesday night more than 500 children ages 3 to 6th grade will gather to quote scripture, sing, compete in AWANA games, and have snacks-all of this while their parents get the ministry of music and the word in our main Worship Auditorium only 100 feet away. I want to challenge every parent reading this to make Wednesday night at First Family Church a night of Awana for the kids and Worship for the parents. This one night each week will transform your entire family's life! Plan to arrive early at 5:15 p.m. for dinner as a family as each Wednesday we cater in some of the best restaurants in Kansas City.
