13. Where do my kids go?
A. The children and youth of First Family are priority number one so you can rest easy knowing they are in a safe and loving environment.

For those of you with infants through Kindergarteners please bring your children in the entrance with the covered drive up. Walking in these sliding doors will bring you into the children's foyer. You'll see the spectacular Playland on your left and then walk past the stairs leading up and turn to your right. You'll be facing our Children's cafe area. Walk towards the glass doors on your right where you'll see the amazing murals on the walls. You will be greeted by one of our friendly Little Saints volunteers at the kiosk who will give you a security I.D. and help you get your child into their classroom to learn about Jesus and have fun.

All children in grades 1-5 attend classes on the second floor of the Children's building which you can access with the elevator or the stairs leading up in the Children's foyer. At the top of the stairs through the glass doors you will be greeted by one of our friendly 1st Kidz volunteers who will give you a security I.D. and help you get your child into their classroom, again to learn about Jesus and have fun.

During each of our worship services at FFC there are exciting activities and learning opportunities for our infants through 5th grade. They will learn the Word of God and experience His love through music, games, puppets and Bible lessons.

The Middle school and High school students enjoy time with their friends in our R.O.C.K. Youth Building on the North end of our campus. This state of the art facility is a terrific hang out and amazing learning center to grow in Christ! Two distinct services are offered at the 9am hour for youth. The Middle schoolers meet in the ROCK Gym and the High Schoolers meet in the ROCK Auditorium. Bring your students and they will Get Rocked in the ROCK Youth Building. Check out the Youth website at www.getrocked.org.

14. What are worship services like?
A. Learning God's Word and worshiping our Lord! We gather together each week to worship God as a family and to express to Him our love, our thanks, and our devotion. Come be our guest as we worship the Lord together and learn how to be and do all that God wants us to.

Our worship services blend the comfort and familiarity of traditional worship with the excitement of a contemporary worship service through both instrumental and vocal music. First Family Church's choir and orchestra lead in worship through the singing of hymns and choruses. variety of worship singers, soloists, and small groups bring special selections as offerings of praise to our Lord. Members of First Family Church also worship by giving, and through prayer and Bible study, which is led by Senior Pastor, Jerry Johnston.

16. What do I Need to Bring?
A. Many members and guests find that it’s easier and more fulfilling to participate in Bible study when they have their own copy of the Bible with them during worship so that they can underline or highlight particular verses for later study. During worship key Bible verses will be displayed on the overhead screens for those who do not have a Bible with them and for those who carry a different translation. To ensure you can have the greatest growth in Christ through Bible teaching a sermonar with detailed notes from the sermon is given out at each Worship Service. Pens are available, but you may want to have one with your Bible as well.

17. What do I wear?
A. All are welcome at First Family Church so no matter what your preference for attire is, you'll feel welcome at First Family. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Sunday mornings are a time when many prefer to wear there Sunday best, but even if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us. Sunday and Wednesday evenings are slightly more casual than Sunday morning, but dress up for these if you prefer. This would also apply to our preschoolers and children as well as our youth. They tend to have a variety of activities keeping them excited.

19. The Meaning of Membership
A. For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." Romans 12:4-5

Church membership is not a means of salvation; becoming a member of First Family Church or any other church does not assure anyone of eternal life in heaven. Church membership also is not a requirement for worshipping or serving at First Family Church, and it is not a command found in the Bible. The Bible does tell believers, however, to meet regularly with a group of Christians who love, serve, and encourage one another (see Ephesians 4:16, I Timothy 3:15, and Romans 12:4-5).
