The Worship Ministry of First Family Church is made up of over 400 Adults, Students, and Children of all ages and backgrounds. We are brought together by a common purpose… to Lift up Jesus Christ, to Lead God's people in authentic worship, and to Communicate salvation to the lost and encouragement to believers. The FFC worship ministry is committed to train individuals to utilize their spiritual and musical gifts to bring glory to God through the above stated objectives.
As an artistic ministry, we believe in the pursuit of excellence to the glory of God. We are constantly reminded that the world will, in large part, judge our message based on the care we take in presenting it. Therefore, in representing the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our constant goal that whatever artistic or technical craft we may employ, we engage in it “as unto the Lord,” giving the very best of all we have for His glory and the advancement of His name. As the psalmist so eloquently stated, “I will not offer to the Lord that which costs me nothing,” so we strive to offer the Lord an authentic and excellent sacrifice, one which His majesty and character demands.

FFC Adult Worship Choir |
| |
…consists of over 200 worshippers who lead in worship during Sunday morning, evening, and mid-week services. They are the centerpiece of the worship experience at First Family Church, leading out in all worship services, events, and special productions. |

FFC Orchestra |
| |
…a growing volunteer orchestra who rehearse weekly and accompany Sunday worship experiences. |
|
|
FFC Student Choir |
| |
…for middle school and high school age students. This group of teens rehearse weekly and minister consistently during Sunday evening worship services, as well as community events and mission tours. |
|
|
FFC Children's Choir |
| |
…for K-6th grade kids, this choir is an enthusiastic group of children who present special music in weekly services, take part in seasonal church productions, and present an annual full scale children's musical for the entire congregation. This group rehearses weekly. |

FFC Praise Team |
| |
…this committed ensemble of worship leaders assist our worship pastor in leading worship during all FFC corporate worship experiences. This is an auditioned group of singers who must uphold the highest standards of spiritual leadership and ministry commitment. |

FFC Media Ministry |
| |
…a committed team of volunteers who make it possible for the gospel to be carried around the world via television, internet and print communications. These faithful people serve in areas of ministry such as audio, video, lighting, music scripting, stage management and product distribution – just to name a few! |

FFC Living Christmas Tree |
| |
…with a cast and crew of over 500 FFC volunteers, the annual presentation of the FFC Living Christmas Tree is a Holiday experience not to be missed. This presentation is truly an extravaganza of music, dance, drama, lights, sound, video, and special effects, all combining to creatively and clearly share the true message of Christmas. |

Kansas City School of Music at First Family Church |

…this NEW institution is dedicated to glorifying the Lord Jesus through the pursuit of artistic excellence (Launch date, June 1, 2008). This school of music boasts a faculty of professional musicians offering weekly lessons in various applied instruments and vocal study. The school is open to students of all ages and proficiency levels. |
