G.E.T. I.T. Memorization Ministry

Motto

To grow mature believers in Christ through scripture memory.

Creed

Psalm 119:97-105
Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through your commandments, make Me wiser than my enemies For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep your word. I have not departed from your judgments, For you yourself have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

A Word From The Director

For the next several weeks and through the summer, we will be memorizing scriptures that speak comfort and direction to us and those around us in our everyday lives as we face the challenges of living our Christian faith in today’s world.  People all around us are searching for meaning, searching for direction, looking to temporary things to give them fulfillment and purpose.  We have in God’s word hope for those people we encounter every day, hope that their life can have purpose, hope that the God who created the whole universe, created them individually  with gifts and talents and interests specifically designed to fit into God’s purpose and plan.  Hope that God loves them so much he not only saved them from the penalty of sin by sending His Son Jesus to take it for them, but loves them even still today, and knows and cares about every detail of their lives.  I hope the next few months of scripture memory will not only be an encouragement to you but also equip you as God sends people across your path that need to hear of His love for them.  Where better to start than the promise of God from Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
