When Should I arrive?
Sunday Morning Worship is at 8, 9:00, and 10:45 a.m., with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes the same sermon and music. On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or 30 minutes early if you need time to find your children’s classroom locations. Programs for children and youth coincide with the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services, and so do most adult fellowship groups.
Wednesday Evening services are at 6:30, with dinner served at 5:00 p.m. from our Kitchen Ministry. Your entire family can come for an affordable and quick dinner before the evening services, and Wednesday Evenings offer something for every member of your family. Our Children’s Ministry has Awana during the school year and Truthscripts during the Summer, and our Middle School and Senior High Youth Ministries both have services that coincide with the main worship service. Every Wednesday evening service contains a full choir and orchestra, and verse by verse bible teaching. If you have children be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can check your children in to their appropriate areas and still leave time to be on time for services.
Sunday Evening services are at 6:00 p.m. each Sunday evening and are geared specifically towards Bible Teaching. Come casual for this 1 hour and 10 minute service that features Worship and the Word. Children’s Ministry activities are offered during services. Arrive 10 minutes early to get your children checked in to their appropriate areas so that you can be on time for service
What Does First Family Have for My Family?
Getting connected at First Family is about relationships that get beneath the surface. That kind of relationship won’t come by simply attending worship services. Whether kids or adults, all of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us to pursue Jesus Christ.
You also can connect by joining a Comfort Circles Group to find help with life challenges and by joining a volunteer ministry team to help others.

I’ve come to a Sunday Service; Now What?
What's the next step for getting connected at First Family? We believe the answer lies in Adult Bible Fellowships Classes, which meet during all three service times. The friendly folks at the Information Center in the main lobby of the church can help you find a group that best matches your life-stage and interests.
Adult Bible Fellowships are a great place to meet with groups of like-minded people for fellowship, worship, prayer, encouragement, and support. All fellowships are under the leadership of excellent pastors and teachers who offer sound biblical insight. The groups frequently meet for activities away from the church and join in opportunities for service. People who get involved in the adult fellowships quickly become a part of the heartbeat of First Family.
Be sure to come to our next ‘Discover First Family Luncheon’ as well to meet our staff team and hear the vision of First Family Church and how your family fits into it. Our luncheon is 90 minutes long and offers a free lunch and free childcare and meets once every 6 weeks. |
